Thank you for visiting act-optics.com, the internet marketplace for optics products. Act-optics.com is an online store owned and operated by ACT Imports, a division of ACT International, LLC which a minority, women owned small business. Our goal is to provide our customers with best optics products at the most competitive prices and with excellent services. We do not sell used and refurnished products.

Currently, we supply to our customers a wide variety of optics products such as binoculars, rifle scopes, spotting scopes, night vision, and etc. We are proud of products from companies like Aimpoint, American Technologies Network (ATN), Burris, Bushnell, EOTech, ITT, Leupold, Night Optics USA, Nikon, Rigel, Sightron, Simmons, Steiner, Trijicon, US Night Vision, Weaver, Yukon, Zeiss and etc.

Ordering

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover Card. You may also use PayPal.  Paypal accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and ECheck. You can set up an account with Paypal easily. We also accept cashiers check, money order, and personal check If you prefer. Orders paid by money order or cashiers check will be processed as soon as the funds are received. Orders paid by personal check will be processed once your check has cleared. Please allow 5-7 business days for your check to be cleared. We gladly accept purchase and contract orders from government/state agencies and military directly or through the Defense Logistics CCR system. Terms are net 30 or you can pay with credit card.

International Orders
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Paypal payment. For credit card payment, you need to provide bank's name and phone number in comment field when you check out. We also accept cashiers check, international money order and personal check. All payment should be in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. All of our prices are in U.S. dollars. The shipping cost of international orders is often very high and varies significantly from country to country. Remember customers are also responsible for customs duties and tariffs whenever applicable. This means that you may be charged additional fee by your country, so please contact your local government office for this information. The total cost may make such transactions not appealing. We do not ship rifle scopes, weapon sights, and night vision products to some foreign countries due to US regulations.  We will review each order and may cancel the order if necessary.

Sales Tax
We collect 7.075% sales tax on orders that are shipped to Missouri state per State law. All other states are not subject to a sales tax.

Shipping

We ship within the United States, US Territories, Canada,  and internationally. Most orders are usually shipped within 1-2 business days after receiving your payment unless a product is backordered. 

  • Shipping Option:
    We primarily use United Parcel Service (UPS) and United Post Office Service (USPS) for our shipping service. Please note that UPS will not deliver to a Post Office Box and military address, so please provide a complete mailing address for prompt delivery or choose a different shipping option.

    Shipping options available according to shipping destination:
    Domestic shipments (within the 48 contiguous states): UPS Ground, UPS Air, USPS Priority Mail.
    Domestic shipments (to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico): UPS Air, USPS Priority Mail.
    International shipments: UPS Worldwide Express, UPS Worldwide Expedited, UPS Standard to Canada, UPS Express to Canada, UPS Expedited to Canada, USPS Express Mail International. For other international ship options such as DHL and FedEX, please contact us for detail. Please note that UPS, FedEx, and DHL do not ship rifle scopes and weapon sights to foreign country.
  • Shipping Fee:
    We charge a flat rate shipping fee for all orders for UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail, USPS Priority Mail International, and USPS Express Mail International. For other shipping options, shipping charges are based on the weight and size of the total order, the method chosen to ship it, and the destination. When you checkout, you will be asked for the shipping name and address first, then standard shipping charges are calculated and displayed before you are asked to place the order. The following is a guideline (all rates include insurance):

    1) For US domestic orders
    UPS Ground (estimated delivery 3-10 days following shipment):$6.95
    USPS Priority Mail (estimated delivery 3-10 days following shipment):$8.95
    UPS Air (estimated delivery two days following shipment): shipping charges are calculated and displayed before you are asked to place the order.

    2) For international orders
    USPS Express Mail International: $45.00
    UPS Worldwide Express/Expedited: Rate varies significantly from country to country. Shipping charges are calculated and displayed before you are asked to place the order.
    UPS Standard/Express/Expedited to Canada: Shipping charges are calculated and displayed before you are asked to place the order.
    We can also ship via FedEx and DHL, please contact us for shipping fee.
  • Order Confirmation:
    We will contact you by email or phone to confirm receipt of your order. We will also notify you of any out-of-stock items or delay in shipment for any reason. 
  • Tracking:
    We will provide you a tracking number, if available, after your order has been shipped. Please note that there is no tracking number available for USPS Priority Mail and USPS Air Parcel.
  • Backorder:
    If an item is out of stock, we will try our best to get it in as soon as we can and will email you immediately to let you know when we expect it in. You will be given the option to cancel your order or continue to wait until the item becomes available. Please note that we will not charge your credit card until an item is available. Backorders are shipped at prices in effect when the item was ordered.
  • Shipping Address:
    For credit card purchases, if your shipping address is different from the billing address we may contact you before ship products. This is to protect us and our customers against credit card fraud and it may lead to delays in your order. If we are unable to verify that you authorized the purchase, the order may be cancelled. To avoid delays or cancellations, you can contact your credit card company to set a delivery address that is separate from your billing address. We can then contact your credit card company directly to verify this information.

Order Cancellation
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at sales@act-optics.com or contact us at (636)579-0127. Your name and order number will be required for us to cancel your order. Please be aware that once an item has shipped, we are unable to cancel the order and the order will be processed as a returned item. For returned items, please see return policy for detail.

Damaged/Defective
If your receive damaged products due to shipment, you need to file claims on damaged shipments with the carrier. For defective products, please contact manufacturer directly for repair or replacement.

Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your online purchase. All our products have a 10-day satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please follow the following steps to return your purchase within 10 days of receipt for a refund (less the shipping cost and 15% restocking fee).
  1. Please keep the product, warranty information, instruction books and the packaging material in new condition during the 10-day satisfaction guarantee period, as all of these items will be required for a quick and proper refund.
  2. Obtain an Return Authorization Number (to ensure proper tracking of your return) and shipping address by emailing us at return@act-optics.com with your name, order number, product id, product description, and the reason for return. Please note that no returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number. 
  3. Mark Return Authorization Number on the outside of the box and return the product including its original packaging, warranty information, owners manuals, and instruction books within 10 days after an Return Authorization Number number has been issued. Do not write on the product boxes. Be sure to package the return items carefully to prevent damage in shipping.
  4. Include a note with your name, order number, product id, product description, and the reason for return.
    We will notify you via email of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. We will credit the charge card originally used. Refunds are issued for the original amount minus the shipping cost and 15% restocking fee. You can expect a refund within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return. However, your credit card company determines when the issued credit will be reflected in your statement. Please allow one to two billing cycles.
  5. Ship via UPS or registered US mail with insurance, so both you and us can track the products. Customers are responsible for return shipping charges.

We apply a 15% restocking fee to cover our return processing cost, restocking fee and etc. To save both you and us time and money, please make sure that you do need a specific product before place order. Currently, we do not accept returned product for exchange.

Please examine any Leupold optics product before removing the plastic wrapping. Due to Leupold's packaging, we are unable to accept back for return any product which has the plastic wrapping removed.

Please note that we cannot accept the return of used products. If you receive a free gift with your order, You must also return the free gift in order to receive a full refund.
